Group Head Gaskets & Seals
The group head gasket (also called a group seal or silicone seal) is the ring the portafilter presses against. When it hardens, water leaks around the portafilter during extraction. Gaskets that share a nominal size can still differ in thickness and profile, which is why the part number for your exact model matters.
